Food Denial

A scheme was designed to prevent the tappers giving food to the C T platoons. 10 Platoon were engaged in this plan.It meant that in some cases a Fus and 3 men would be responsible for checking the tappers out to the rubber to tap the trees early in the morning. The whole village had to have a communal breakfast and what was left was destroyed under supervision to prevent the tappers being forced to hand over food etc to  the local C T’s.
